Corstorphine

At Nationwide Building Society in Corstorphine, Edinburgh, we completed a full internal and external redecoration as part of a 10-day branch renovation programme.
With the bank temporarily closed, we worked to a strict schedule with the main contractor L&D Interiors to ensure smooth coordination and on-time delivery. Existing wall coverings were carefully removed and all surfaces thoroughly filled and prepared. Using our Mirka sanding systems connected to M-Class dust extractions, we maintained a clean, controlled, and virtually dust-free environment throughout the works.
Walls were sealed with Zinsser Aqua Guard and finished in Dulux Diamond Matt using Strong White and Dove Tail Grey, creating a fresh, contemporary contrast. All woodwork, including doors, casings, and architraves, was properly primed and undercoated before receiving a durable satinwood finish in Moles Breath for maximum adhesion and longevity. Internal and external windows and doors were fully prepared and coated with Dulux Weathershield for a resilient, long-lasting interior and exterior finish.
Our team decorated areas of the branch, including the banking hall, personal meeting rooms, open meeting spaces, and behind the counter, ensuring consistent colour schemes and premium finishes throughout.
This project highlights our ability to deliver high-spec commercial decorating within tight timeframes, working collaboratively with other trades while maintaining exceptional standards of preparation, cleanliness, and finish across all areas of work.
